Description
Broad beans are tall, erect, robust plants growing to 0.5-1.7 m (2-4 ft) tall, with stout stems and abundant leaves. Harvest in about 90-160 days depending on how cold the weather is at your location.

Seed Depth:
5-10 cm (1-2 inches) deep (about 3 times the diameter of the seed).
Space between plants:
15-25 cm (6-9 inches) apart
Harvest Time:
14-16 weeks
Hints:
Thin after seedlings established
Pick frequently to encourage the growth of more pods.
Provide support in windy areas
The stems and leaves provide a wonderful green fertiliser - bury in trenches in the garden or add to your compost bin.
