Sow seed at a depth about three times the diameter of the seed.

45 cm (1.5 ft) apart
Harvest Time:
12 to 16 weeks from seed for early harvesting of stems. Roots can be harvested in 18 months

Grows best in semi-shaded areas
the species, Angelica pachycarpa sold as an ornamental garden plant, is not edible
Angelica will self seed if seed heads are left on the plant
Plants may die back the first winter, but will shoot again in spring
